THE MUSIC
NEVER DIED.

Some voices get silenced. The stories don't. Dead Dave makes country, Americana, and rock music drawn from hard living, stubborn hope, and the people you don't forget.

The story

Buried on stage. Alive on the page.

Jeff Tyson started writing songs in the 1980s, including “World Gone Mad” for his band Phaze. Dystonia eventually made playing and singing impossible. But he never quit writing. Decades later, new production tools and AI-assisted vocals offered a way for the songs in his head to be heard again. That's why he calls himself Dead Dave—the performing identity that disappeared, brought back through the music.

“AI didn’t replace the artist—it gave a silenced artist his ‘voice’ back”

— Jake Sommer, #Journeyrock Review
